Major chords are one of the most commonly used chord types on ukulele, and they have a bright, happy sound. They are constructed by playing the root note, the major third, and the perfect fifth of a scale simultaneously. For example, a C major chord would be made up of the notes C, E, and G.
Please Note: String numbers are inverted when describing chord boxes, so String 4 (also known as the “bottom” string) is far left and String 1 (also known as “first” or “top” string) is on the right of the box chart.
